SpaceTEC®’s Schools-to-Space® Program participated in the STEM Showcase hosted by Craig Technologies in Cape Canaveral Florida for Manufacturing Day 2015 last October. SpaceTEC representatives met with parents, students, educators, business leaders, elected officials, and members of the community during the one day event.
“Manufacturing Day (www.mfgday.com) is a growing grassroots movement dedicated to overcoming the industry’s shared challenges and inspiring the next generation of workers. This is done by showing the public what modern manufacturing really looks like. On the first Friday in October of every year, thousands of manufacturers and educational institutions across the nation participate in Manufacturing Day by hosting open houses, public tours, career workshops, and other events.”
SpaceTEC® discussed with the attendees potential careers in aerospace as a Nationally Certified Aerospace Technician and its Schools-to-Space® Program.
